Elisa: Venice Stone

Elisa: Venice Stone Eight frames, one city, one body. We spent the day moving through the tight passages and along the canals. The light shifted constantly, giving the stone and the water a deep, rich tone. Elisa owned the space, moving between the rough brick walls and the smooth stone ledges. Her gaze was direct, challenging the viewer. We focused on the interplay of the deep blues of the water, the warm ochre of the buildings, and the sharp contrast of her silhouette against the Venetian backdrop. The series shifts from close, intimate moments to full-body stances, always anchored by her presence in this historic place.
